CPCB had issued a public notice for registration of Producers, Importers, Brand Owners (PIBO) under the provisions of Plastic Waste Management Rules. Earlier the deadline for registration was 15 May 2021. Upon RAI's submission, it got extended till 30 June 2021. In the wake of national lockdown due to COVID-19 second wave, RAI had requested for further deferment. We are pleased to inform that the deadline for the same is now extended till 1st August 2021.
