Priced at the rate of a soap, ThinkSkin is a contemporary body wash brand that aims to upgrade customers from using soap to body wash. The launch of braille packaging is in line with the company’s vision of representing FMCG 2.0 industry and empowering the consumer experience.

The packaging is carefully designed for easy access and recognition of the bottle by the visually impaired. The new range was unveiled through a special campaign featuring Ajay Kumar Reddy, Captain of Indian Men’s Blind Cricket Team highlighting the importance of the sense of touch.

Speaking about the packaging, Ashni Biyani, Managing Director, Future Consumer Limited, says, “As a FMCG 2.0 company, we offer innovative products that make life easier for our consumers. Braille packaging is a small step towards assisting the visual impaired in their daily routine. We will soon introduce never seen before innovation in product and packaging that will take consumer experience to the next level.”

Braille friendly products is just the tip of the iceberg. Staying in line with its inclusive approach, FCL will soon be launching more braille friendly products in various other categories like spices, sauces and multiple home care products. Crafted for the visually impaired, Braille Packaged body washes will be available at Big Bazaar, Big Bazaar GenNXT, Nilgiris, Heritage and Easyday stores in the country.

Leading department store chain V-Mart opened its 200th store in Mughalsarai, Uttar Pradesh. With this landmark achievement, the company has opened a total of 29 new stores in the current fiscal year so far. Earlier this month, the company launched its 198th and 199th store, both also in UP, at Kannauj and Naubasta near Kanpur, respectively.

Marking the significance of this milestone for the company, Lalit Agarwal, CMD of V-Mart said, “We remain focused on strong execution, riding on the back of our proven cluster-based expansion model. The 200th store is a key milestone for V-Mart, more so, because we have added the last 100 stores in three years, while we took twelve years for the first 100. This demonstrates accelerated customer demand and V-Mart’s ability to translate that into all-round value creation.”

Lulu Group launched Y Mall, a new shopping centre at Triprayar Junction in Kerala. The Lulu Group Chairman and Managing Director, M.A. Yusuff Ali dedicated the newly opened Rs250 crore mall project to his home town. M.A.Yusuff Ali’s grandchild, Ayan Ali cut the ceremonial ribbon, officially inaugurating the mall. Speaking at the event, M.A.Yusuff Ali said that the 2.5 lakh sq.ft Y Mall and the 4.6 acres of land on which it has been constructed is his endowment towards worthy initiatives.

He declared that ‘Y Foundation’ will be the owner of the mall and the profits from the mall will be contributed towards various charitable activities under the Y foundation, including assistance for the upcoming NattikaJuma Masjid; Triprayar Sri Rama Swamy temple; NattikaAarikkiri Bagavathy Temple and Triprayar St.Jude Church. The NattikaJuma Masjid will receive Rs 10 lakh; Triprayar Sri Rama Swamy temple will be allotted Rs 5 lakh; the Nattika AarikkiriBagavathy Temple and the Triprayar St.Jude Church will receive Rs 2 lakh each year. This will be in addition to the various charity works under the Y Foundation.

Things are set to change with Bespocut, a techno-commercial business enablement platform.
