Globus, one of India’s leading fashion retail chains, is accelerating its growth roadmap, by transforming operations with SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud. As a part of the association, Globus will harness the power of cloud to enhance retail processes and replace its legacy systems, while leveraging the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA.

Globus currently runs 40 stores across 24 cities. The implementation aims to build omnichannel retail for the brand through seamless integration on the cloud. The company will also benefit from insights into operational data to empower store staff with contextual details, while providing real-time information for faster and better decision making to the board.

Sanjay VakhariaSpykar, one of India’s largest denim brands, announces the promotion of Sanjay Vakharia to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Sanjay co-founded the brand in 1992 and was the COO & Director since 2014.

The announcement comes at the back of an excellent year for the business where the brand clocked retail sales of over 550 crores. The revenues of Spykar have doubled and the profits grew by 4x in the last 3years. The business was acquired by the Metdist group from Mr. Prasad Pabrekar in 2014. The Metdist Group is owned by the Bagri family, led by Apurv Bagri. The group is a global conglomerate with diversified interests in metal, hospitality, fashion and technology.

Featuring among the top 3 denim brands in India, Spykar has 220 standalone stores across 140 cities and over 700 SIS (shop in shops) and 700 multi brand outlets across 350 cities of the country. It is also available on all online fashion portals. Spykar has moved from being a pure play denim player to one which serves the fashion needs of the youth. It extends itself from clothing to accessories including grooming products.

Celio Club Store JayanagarBangaloreFrench menswear brand Celio has launched its Paris concept store at Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The store will also house the country’s first ‘Celio Club’ – a concept brand by Celio that offers a line of business and formal menswear.

The new Celio Store is 1,600 sq. ft. spread across two levels—with the ground level displaying casual wear and the first level stocking the Celio Club.

The store is aesthetically designed using minimalistic settings using metal and wood for major fittings and fixtures. The store dons an edgy look with a cement floor and open architecture resembling a loft. It has created a rugged whitewashed brick wall to showcase the latest denim collection. Celio has also added subtle elements such as books, rugs, plants and cushions to create a vibrant yet comforting atmosphere at the store.

Apart from this Paris Concept Store, Celio also has flagship stores at prime locations in Indira Nagar, Phoenix Market City Mall, Orion Mall and HSR Layout in Bangalore. These stores also offer a complete range of apparel and accessories from Celio.

Celio retails in India through 300 points of sale in exclusive stores, national chain stores, distributor and partner stores and leading e-commerce portals across 89 cities. It boasts a total retail area of 1,00,000+ sq. ft. The omni-channel retailer is also present on major e-commerce channels like Myntra, Amazon, Jabong and Flipkart.
